7th and 8th-grade students:  Are you interested in joining the Jr. High Swim team?  The deadline to signup is today, Friday.  If you are interested please see your P.E. teacher, Coach Givens, or the swim team website for more information.

Interested in trying out for High School or Junior High cheer? FHS Cheerleaders
are hosting a cheer tryout clinic on February 19th to work on skills and elements to
get ready for tryouts! See Coach Darilek (room 6208) or Coach Acker (6121) to
pick up an informational flier to register. Attendance is not required to try out.


Attention UIL academic team

Practice for your events will be on Thursday right after school. We will meet in room #7133

If you have signed up to participate in the UIL academic meet then you need to stay after school on Thursdays for practice.  Your ride needs to pick you up promptly at 

5:10 P.M. out front by the flagpole. 



Bonjour Mustangs! Do you love French culture? Do you adore French food and recipes? What
about French pop music?  For the 3rd year at the JH, you can come and join us in the French
Club! Get ready for fun, food, friends and a French adventure as we dive into French games,
cooking, castles, celebrating holidays and more. 
There is NO NEED to speak French, this is a fun opportunity open to all 7th graders and any
current French students in 8th grade.
And if you're interested in learning to speak French one day, this is a great place to start. Come
and see what French is all about and join our French family!
Our first meeting is: January 31st in the Media Center from 4 to 5 PM
